We are sorry to inform you that we have decided to cancel the second international AFORPOLIS conference planned in Accra in September 2020.
After a thorough consideration of health threats and given the many uncertainties (including travel restrictions from participants’ countries of departure) related to the current global COVID-19 pandemic over the coming months, we felt that as conference organizers we must avoid contributing to potential further spread of the Corona virus both in host country and among the 200 expected attendees.
On behalf of all our partners involved in the preparation of this conference including IUFRO, Tropenbos international and Tropenbos Ghana, we sincerely thank you again for submitting your abstracts. We apologize for the inconvenience and we really look forward to counting on your participation to other AFORPOLIS events in the future.
