Jun He is Professor in Development and Environment at School of Ethnology and Sociology, Yunnan University, China. He has a PhD in Development Studies with focus on forest governance from University of East Anglia. Currently, his expertise and research interests lie in a broad issue of natural resource management with focus on Payment for Environmental Service, Decentralization of Natural Resource Management and Governance of Market Access (value chain). Prof. He examine those issues from policy-oriented research in both local and regional level with focus on timber, non-timber forest product and forest ecosystem. Prof. He also has extensive international research experiences in Southeast Asian, North Korea and Kenya.
